The Audibles teamed up with Interscope recording artist and Alabama native Yelawolf to work on his debut album Radioactive. They recorded five songs, four of which made the album. “Let’s Roll” which was co-produced by Mr. Pyro and Eminem, became the second lead single and featured Kid Rock. It received radio success and helped catapult Yela’s career to mainstream hip hop.
The success of 2011 rolled out the red carpet for the projects of 2012. The Audibles worked with Lupe Fiasco for the second time on his forthcoming album Food and Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album to created his newest single “Bitch Bad”. This year the duo also teamed up with Poo Bear to work on his R&B opus Beats 2 Break Up 2. They did almost all of the production aside from a track titled “Made You Break Up With Me” which was produced by Mr. Pyro. During 2012 The Audibles went on to work with artist such as Chris Brown, Tyga, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Jennifer Hudson, and the The Game for their up and coming projects. The close of this year was met with much success.
All of the hard work and dedication from the previous year’s bought an opportunity for studio time with Pop Superstar Justin Bieber. During those studio sessions The Audibles produced 6 of the 15 tracks on Bieber’s Journal’s album. Their unique sound can be heard on tracks from the Journal’s album titled Bad Day, Recovery, PYD, Swap It Out, Alone, and fan favorite Hold Tight. The album Journal’s was noted by industry critics as well as fans as one of the greatest R&B albums of this generation. The close of the year was spent working with artist French Montana on his future project.
Remembering to keeping in line with the one of the many values DJ Mecca and Jimmy G parents instilled in them regarding giving back, the team step away from the studio for a bit and focused on humanitarian works. Even with their humanitarian works keeping them busy, the duo was able to produce a track for French Montana entitled “Julius Ceasar”. This track gained much success. Later this year the duo produced five songs on the Multi Grammy award winning and singer/songwriter Poo Bear’s BEATS 2 MAKE LOVE 2 album. The EP trumped all of the R&B albums released that year with Grammy suggestions from industry critics.
The success of Justin Bieber’s 2013 album Journal’s brought The Audibles right back into the studio to work with Bieber as well as Poo Bear on Bieber’s fourth album Purpose. The long hours in the studio created a hit entitled “No Pressure” featuring Big Sean that was released on the album. The song features a dreamy guitar riff with a smooth bassline and 3/4 time signature. This year also was met with a contribution in the form of a track titled “Little More” (Royalty) for Chris Brown’s seventh studio album Royalty. The music video for this song was released on December 18th 2015. Keeping busy is something The Audibles focus on always doing. It is that mindset that encouraged them to team back up with their childhood friend JR Castro to work on his debut EP and co-produce a single with DJ Mustard entitled “Get Home” featuring Kid Ink and Quavo.
Halfway through this year and it has already been a promising one for the power duo. The guys have already been in the studio producing for Grammy award winning artist Mary J.Blige as well as other A-List artists like Trey Songz and Mike Posner. After having the 2015 R&B record of the year “Get Home” it was expected for their best friend and artist JR Castro to follow up with a summer smash entitled “Right Away” which was also produced by The Audibles. Even though The Audibles recently received their first Triple Platinum Plaque for the “No Pressure” record off Justin Bieber’s forth coming album Purpose, the guys have not stopped grinding in the studio. The duo is currently working on projects with Rascal Flatts and Juanes. The power duo of producers known as The Audibles has made its mark on the music industry and is just getting started. The Audibles team up with their friend Common Kings for their first full length album entitled "Lost In Paradise." They produced nearly all the records including the two singles "Lost In Paradise" and Take Her" respectfully. The Album went on to be nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 60th Grammys. Making this their fourth nomination. Also collabed with TY$, Poo Bear and Sasha Sirota on "FAMOUS" for his third installment BEACHHOUSE3. Trey Songz album "Tremaine" got a little love from guys as they helped co write the ballad "Break From Love." In October, They went on to work with SAM SMITH for his second album The Thrill Of It All. They Co-Wrote and Co- Produced "BURNING" #5 on the album with POO BEAR.
The guys stayed busy in the studio cooking up while they received their fourth GRAMMY nomination. Long time collaborator POO BEAR released a solo album entitled "POO BEAR Presents: Bearthday Music" in which the guys produced FOUR of the 15 songs. "Put Your Lovin Where Mouth Is" Feat. JLO, Inevitable" Feat. SASHA SIROTA, "From Here" Feat. NIKKI VIANNA and "VEGAS" Feat. LAZR, respecfully.
More work and more placements. The two went on to work with long time writing partner LAZR to produce YK OSIRIS hit single "SHAKIRA." This song received great exposure and became a club favorite. They also dabbled a little into country and Co-produced "Dream Selling" with their brothers Poo Bear and Sasha Sirota. Also, had the pleasure to produce the single for the up and coming group 17 Crowns entitled "Grateful" feat. POO BEAR.
This year has began to be a very promising one so far. After the long wait, Justin Bieber is due to release his fifth studio album "Changes" on February 14th 2020. The Audibles produced the SECOND SINGLE "INTENTIONS" Feat. Quavo of The Migos with POO BEAR. Singles out everywhere 2/7.
They Produced FOUR of the 17 records off the forthcoming album: #3 Come Around Me, #4 Intentions Feat. Quavo, #8 Running Over Feat. Lil Dicky and #10 Second Emotion Feat. Travi$ Scott.
"Intentions" went to go #1 at Radio and Billboard HOT 100 top 10 for 22 weeks. peaking at #5.
Chris Brown and Young Thug called on The Audibles for a Summer Smash entitled "City Girls" off their collab album "Slime and B."
They also Co-produced a heartfelt single "Happy Pill" with Common Kings that was release late August.
On 8/14, The Audibles are due to release their own first single feat. long time collaborator POO BEAR "UP." This will be released under their new record label NOTOMORO. This will be the first of many releases attached to their debut album entitled, "DO COOL SH!T WITH YOUR FRIENDS" which is scheduled to follow late 2020.
